MMA Drop In Gym Partner Agreement
This agreement is between MMA Drop In and your gym ("the Gym").
1. What MMA Drop In does
MMA Drop In lists the Gym — name, location, photos, prices, and weekly schedule — so visiting athletes can find it, book a class, and pay in advance online. Once registration and payout setup are complete, the Gym's listing is live and bookable within minutes — not days.
2. What the Gym gets paid
The Gym earns 75% of its posted drop-in rate for every confirmed visitor — at the Gym's current rate of $20, that is $15.00 per visit. The Gym sets its own posted drop-in rate, with a minimum of $14. Payment processing costs are covered by MMA Drop In. A visit is confirmed when the Gym marks the visitor as attended in MMA Drop In. Every confirmation is recorded with the account that clicked it and the date and time.
3. Holding and releasing money
MMA Drop In holds the visitor's payment until the visit happens. After the visit date, the Gym has 3 days to confirm attendance or report a no-show. If the Gym does nothing within 3 days, the visit is treated as attended and the payout is released automatically.
All payouts are delivered through Stripe, MMA Drop In's payment processor. After signing, the Gym receives a secure Stripe link by email to enter its bank details directly with Stripe — MMA Drop In never sees or stores them. Completing Stripe setup is required before any payout can be released. Confirmed visits are held until setup is complete.
4. Cancellations and no-shows
Visitors may cancel up to 2 hours before the booked class start time. A timely cancellation is refunded minus the payment processing costs from the original charge (for example, a $20 booking refunds about $19.10); this deduction is disclosed to the visitor on the booking card at the time of payment. The Gym receives no payout for a timely cancellation. Cancellations within 2 hours of class, and no-shows, are charged in full and the Gym receives its standard payout. If a visitor misses a class they were charged for, the Gym agrees to honor the booking at the next available session of that same class — later the same day or on a later date — at no extra charge.
5. How bookings reach the Gym
MMA Drop In notifies the Gym of every booking immediately by email — and by text message if the Gym provides a cell number — including the visitor's name, the class, and the date and time. Cancellations are sent the same way. After each booked class, MMA Drop In asks the Gym by text or email to confirm the visitor attended — confirming promptly releases the payout sooner. The Gym is responsible for keeping its contact email and phone number current with MMA Drop In.
6. What the Gym agrees to do
Welcome MMA Drop In visitors into the booked class like any drop-in guest; have each visitor sign the Gym's standard liability waiver; and let MMA Drop In know when the class schedule changes so listings stay accurate. The Gym's posted schedule is a service commitment — visitors book against it, and the Gym agrees to run the classes it lists.
The Gym agrees to tell MMA Drop In immediately about closures or cancelled classes — holidays, emergencies, instructor absences — so affected bookings can be moved or refunded before visitors show up. If a visitor arrives for a booked class that does not take place, the visitor is refunded in full, the Gym receives no payout, and MMA Drop In may deduct the cost of that refund from the Gym's pending payouts. If a visitor reports that a booked class did not take place, the payout for that booking is held and the Gym has 48 hours to confirm or dispute the report; if the Gym confirms it or does not respond, the visitor is refunded in full. Repeated missed classes may result in removal from MMA Drop In.
7. Photos and name
The Gym gives MMA Drop In permission to show the Gym's name, logo, and photos the Gym provides on the MMA Drop In website and in MMA Drop In marketing.
8. Safety and responsibility
Visitors train under the Gym's normal rules and supervision, at their own risk, exactly like any walk-in guest. Martial arts and contact sports involve inherent risk of injury. MMA Drop In is a booking service only — it does not provide training and cannot be held responsible for any injury or physical harm resulting from contact fighting or training of any kind. The Gym is responsible for having each visitor sign its standard liability waiver before training.
MMA Drop In and the Gym hold each other harmless for visitor no-shows and booking errors. Each side's remedy for these events is limited to the refund and payout rules in this agreement, and neither side will pursue the other for further losses arising from them.
9. Changes and ending the partnership
MMA Drop In may change the payout percentage with 30 days notice. The Gym may change its posted drop-in rate at any time; the new rate applies to new bookings. The Gym may not simply stop participating. To leave, the Gym must give MMA Drop In 7 days written notice. On notice, the Gym is removed from search so no new bookings are made — but the Gym agrees to honor every booking confirmed before that point, or immediately report any it cannot honor so those visitors can be fully refunded. Confirmed visits before the end date are still paid. MMA Drop In may end the partnership with 7 days written notice on the same terms.
10. Independence
This is a partnership between independent businesses. It is not employment, and it is not exclusive — the Gym can keep taking walk-ins and using any other service.
